2010 Disappeared

So it's been over a year and a half since I posted here. Whoa.

In that time, I've finally landed a full time job as an Assistant Marketing Manager for Zonderkidz, and am really enjoying it. The position allows me to feed both sides of my personality: creative and analytical, but I'll get to that later.

When I started this blog, it was to highlight the creative work that I was doing. Most of it was centered around the motion graphics animation I was doing for The Jesus Storybook Bible. That project finally ended this past February. I'm really grateful for the experience, and almost as grateful that it's over! It took up a lot of time, and while fun, it was also a constant stress hanging over my head. At the end of the day however, it's very satisfying to look back at almost 50 videos (almost 4 hours) of animation. I've never done any animation before that.

If you'd like to see the results of that project, visit The Jesus Storybook Bible's Facebook Fan Page. Every Friday they feature one of the 44 videos I made for them.

The videos have been extremely well received from the fans of the book, as well as the author, Sally Lloyd-Jones. I guess that means success, right?

I'm going to try to update this blog more often now that things have settled down a little in life. Even though we have a brand new baby girl at home, life still feels like it's becoming more balanced, which is a very welcome prospect...
